Plain-language beta notice

Privacy and AI use

Interview Studio is an early product. This page explains what happens to the information you provide while preparing for an interview.

Information you can provide

You may enter a job description or URL, company name, interview type and date, a short introduction, resume text, and written practice answers. Resume upload is optional.

How AI processing works

In live mode, your preparation inputs are sent to OpenAI to generate a plan. Written answers and the relevant generated plan are sent again when you request feedback. Company research may use OpenAI web search and returns source links where available.

For this beta, OpenAI may use your inputs and AI responses to improve and train its models. Please avoid sensitive or confidential information.

The application requests that OpenAI does not store API responses for later retrieval. This does not disable the data sharing described above. OpenAI still processes the request under its applicable API terms and data policies. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so it should support rather than replace your judgment.

What is saved

When you sign in with Google, we use your account details to give you access to your workspace. Your generated plans, saved answer drafts, feedback, and available credits are stored with your account so you can return to them on another device. We use Supabase to provide sign-in and store this information.

Your browser also stores a local copy of your current progress. Uploaded resumes are processed to extract text for your plan; the uploaded file itself is not saved in your workspace.

How to delete your progress

Select Clear saved progress in your preparation workspace, or clear the website's local storage in your browser, to remove the copy on that device. This does not delete plans or answers saved to your account. Self-service deletion of account data is not yet available in the beta.

Product analytics

The beta records a small set of product events, such as opening the preparation page, generating a plan, starting a question, requesting feedback, revising an answer, and completing a round. These events include a temporary tab-session identifier and basic event metadata.

Analytics events do not include resume text, job descriptions, company names, written answers, feedback content, or generated plan content. The current implementation writes events to application logs for beta measurement and does not use advertising trackers.
